Configuring Outlook Express

 

1. Start Outlook Express.

2. Select Accounts from the Tools drop down menu.

3. Pick the Mail tab. Click the Add button and select Mail from the roll out.


4. Fill in your name and e-mail address when prompted by the Internet Connection Wizard.

5. Enter your e-mail server names when prompted. Server names for both incoming and outgoing mail will be mail.yourdomain.com (ex: http://www.macropixels.com will be mail.macropixels.com)

6. Enter your account name and password that has been provided for you by Macropixels, Inc.

- Make sure the Remember Password box is checked if you want avoid having to enter a password every time you check your mail.

7. Once the Internet Connection Wizard is finished, select the mail account you just created and click the Properties button.

8. Pick the Servers tab and check the box: "My server requires authentication".

9. Click Ok to close the Properties dialog. Click Close to close the Internet Accounts dialog.

10. Outlook Express is now configured to send and recieve e-mail.
