Configuring Netscape Messenger

1. Start Netscape Messenger.

2. Select Prefences from the Edit drop down menu.

3. Select Mail Servers from the Mail & Newsgroups category.


4. To setup outgoing mail server: Enter the server name - mail.yourdomain.com (ex: http://www.macropixels.com will be mail.macropixels.com).


5. Enter your user name that has been provided to you by Macropixels, Inc.


6. To setup incoming mail server: Click Edit to change the properties of an existing server. If no servers exist, click Add.

7. Enter the server name - mail.yourdomain.com (ex: http://www.macropixels.com will be mail.macropixels.com).


8. Enter your user name that has been provided to you by Macropixels, Inc.

- Make sure the Remember Password box is checked if you want avoid having to enter a password every time you check your mail.

9. Click Ok to close the Mail Server Properties dialog.

10. Click Ok to close the Preferences dialog.

10. Netscape Messenger is now configured to send and recieve e-mail.
